Welcome to Quash’s GitHub Integration Guide! This document will assist you in seamlessly integrating GitHub with our services, enhancing your team's collaboration and code management.

Follow the steps below to integrate GitHub into your workflow and, if needed, disconnect it.


Connecting GitHub with Quash

Integrating GitHub allows you to sync repositories and track code changes within your preferred GitHub projects. Here's how to set it up:

Step 1: Access Settings

  • Navigate to Your Profile: Click on your profile icon, usually located in the top right corner of the screen.
  • Go to Settings: Select the "Settings" option from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Integrations Page

  • Find Integrations: Within the Settings menu, locate the "Integrations" tab or section.
  • Select GitHub: Click on the option to integrate with GitHub.

Step 3: Integrate GitHub

  • Initiate Integration: Click the "Integrate GitHub" button. You may need to provide your GitHub credentials or generate an API token.
  • Choose Repository: Select the GitHub repository(ies) you want to integrate with our service.
  • Configure Options: Configure with Save configuration to save the selected fields.

Step 4: Complete Integration

  • Integration Success: Once configured, the integration process completes. You'll be redirected back to the integrations page on our platform.
  • Verify Sync: Ensure that code changes from your selected GitHub repository(ies) are syncing properly with our platform.
  • Additional Configuration: Depending on your project needs, you may want to set up notifications or other advanced features within GitHub.

Congratulations! GitHub is now integrated with our service, facilitating efficient code management and collaboration.

Disconnecting the GitHub Integration

If you wish to discontinue the integration between Quash and GitHub, follow these steps:

  • Access Integration Settings: Navigate to the page where you initially set up the GitHub integration.
  • Click “Disconnect”: Locate the option to disconnect the integration and confirm your decision.
  • Integration Discontinued: Once disconnected, the syncing of code changes between Quash and GitHub will cease.
