Yesterday, Manus AI dropped—a Chinese-built autonomous agent that doesn’t just generate text or answer questions. It gets things done.

Did Manus Just Redefine AI Overnight? Manus scrapes data, builds files, codes dashboards, automates workflows—all from a single prompt. No follow-ups. No logging back in to check progress. It runs on its own, processing tasks in the background.

But here’s the catch: you can’t just sign up. It’s invite-only, locked behind an access code. And that exclusivity is driving the hype through the roof. The AI space is watching, and every leak, every performance claim, is adding fuel to the fire.

Manus describes itself as a “general AI agent that turns thoughts into actions.” Posts from X are saying it’s outperforming OpenAI’s DeepResearch on GAIA benchmarks. Reddit is also buzzing with users calling it a breakthrough in the AI space with posts about Manus automating, and in some cases up to 50 tasks! If that’s true, it means AI just moved beyond thinking and planning. Now, it executes.
